A Brief History

As a Producer and Executive Producer Russell has made documentaries for BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 2, Radio 4, 5Live, and the World Service. For Radio 1 he was also an Entertainment Reporter, interviewing hundreds of singers, musicians, actors, and comedians. Across several stations Russell has set the day’s news agenda, operating as a News Editor, assigning stories and training journalists to write scripts and deliver their reports. 

His work has also been heard globally on the BBC World Service, America’s National Public Radio, and across Africa for UNICEF and MTV. Additionally, Russell collaborates with podcasters to structure their output, plan their content and target their audiences.
